BENNIE EUGENE DOOLEN
KINMUNDY, Ill. - Former Vincennes resident
Bennie Eugene Doolen, 81, Kinmundy, died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003,
at Doctors Nursing Home in Salem.
He was regional sales director of John Deere Co. He
lived in Vincennes from 1960-1969, where he was employed as Allstate Insurance
agent.
Survivors include his wife, Pola (Bailey) Doolen of
Kinmundy; two sons, Steve Doolen of Vincennes and Bill Doolen of Ellettsville,
Ind.; a daughter, Terri Moscan of Terre Haute, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Linda
Elwood of Salem; three stepsons, Howard Robb of Patoka, Scott Robb of
Bloomington, and Richard Atkins of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Lela Smith of St.
Louis; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Pauline (Purcell) Doolen, is
deceased.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Neal
Funeral Home in Kinmundy. Burial with military honors will be in Doolen
Cemetery in rural Alma.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the
funeral home.
